About the Role
The Gatherer owns everything upstream of the edit. This role is fully responsible for scripting, production planning, filming, on-set direction, and clean handoff to the Builder. If a video is unclear, unusable, or requires heavy restructuring in the edit, that is an upstream failure and falls under the Gatherer’s ownership. Gatherers do not partially contribute to production. They own the entire pre-edit pipeline end to end. This role is based in Vancouver and requires in-person filming and direct coordination with coaches, guests, and channel leads.
What You'll Do

Script every video using Aylex Academy templates (hook → steps → before/after → takeaway)

Plan and run production so shoots stay efficient and structured

Direct on set to ensure coaches and guests clearly explain, demonstrate, and summarize

Capture all required footage (A-roll, demonstrations, fallback options)

Enforce “structure > perfection” to keep shoots moving

Make real-time decisions to protect usability when guests underperform

Package and deliver footage in a clean, labeled, editor-ready handoff

Flag risks early and propose solutions before they reach the Builder
